As the day progressed, the winds began to rise which is common for Baja but the swell was still holding. The best ridable peaks started to shift more to different regions up and down the long coastline. That is where having the jet skis comes in handy. They allow the surfers to save huge amounts of time by not having to paddle upwards of a quarter mile from peak to peak. The skis also give surfers the ability to generate a tremendous amount of speed to get into the wave early so they can get the longest tube ride.
The Baja surf session on January 25th, 2023, will forever be etched in the minds of the surfers that day. It served as a reminder of the relentless pursuit of passion and the unwavering spirit of those who are willing to go on a road trip.
