Hank Warner, legendary San Diego shaper, caught up with us for an interview. He shared with us why the Luau & Legends of Surfing Invitational raising money for the Moores Cancer Center is so important to him. This interview is part of a video series called Luau Stories.

For over 20 years every August the contest and luau is held at Scripps Pier along the La Jolla Shores. This is the largest surfing charity event in the world. Cumulatively, having raised over 10 Million for the Moores Cancer Center.

Hank Warner has been involved with the event since its inception. He knows firsthand how important it is.
