On February 7, 2022, the surfers at Windansea Beach in La Jolla were treated to an exciting late afternoon session. Waves were typically a playful 3 to 5-foot height and with clean conditions. Surfers, especially the groms (young surfers), had a blast. The Left Bowl section provided the perfect canvas to attempt aerial maneuvers at the end of their rides.
During this session, the tide was on the higher side. This undoubtedly results in a somewhat mushy take-off section. However, once surfers made it past the inside reef, the waves stood up beautifully. Windansea Beach, located in the picturesque coastal town of La Jolla, is known for its consistent surf breaks and natural beauty.
