The surf at Trestles State Beach was a fun 3 to 5 feet with 70-degree water temperature, perfect conditions for Barton to hone his skills. During this session, he scored several sets and focused primarily on practicing his airs, a high-flying maneuver that requires a combination of speed, height, and control.
