The surf had some fun waves and warm water for this VLOG session. We headed to a localized break we knew some of the surfers to do water photos of. Surfing is more than just a sport, it’s a lifestyle. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of catching a wave and riding it all the way to the shore.
On August 10th, 2018, we had the pleasure of experiencing some fun, rippable waves and warm water during our SLAW VLOG session. The waves were about 3-5 feet and the water temperature was a balmy 74 degrees. The lineup was filled with some of that areas local rippers such as Ralph West, Justin Petix, Trevor Pike, Steve Antti, JD, and Bony Silveira.

We decided to head to a localized beach break that we knew some surfers frequented. Fortunately, we were able to get permission from some of the surfers to take water photos of them. This allowed us to capture some amazing shots of these skilled athletes in their element. We were amazed at their ability to ride the waves with such ease and grace.
One of the great things about surfing is that it brings people together. It doesn’t matter where you come from or what your background is, when you’re out in the water, you’re all surfers. We met some fantastic people during our SLAW VLOG session and were able to share our love for surfing with them.
Surfing is not just a sport, it’s also about respecting the ocean and the environment. We always make sure to leave the beach cleaner than we found it and to be mindful of the impact we have on the environment. It’s important that we all do our part to protect our planet for future generations to enjoy.
In conclusion, our SLAW VLOG session on August 10th, 2018 was a memorable one. We were blessed with great waves and warm water, and we were able to meet some fantastic people who share our passion for surfing. We were also reminded of the importance of respecting the ocean and the environment. We can’t wait to hit the waves again soon and see what the ocean has in store for us next.
