SLAW VLOG doing some water photos at an inconsistent spot that is only breaking because most other surf breaks in California are totally maxed out with the huge swell. Hopped in the ocean to do some water photos of the local guys.
On January 16th, 2018, the SLAW VLOG team found themselves in this exact situation. With most of the popular surf breaks in California completely maxed out due to a huge swell, they had to get creative to find a spot to shoot some water photos. And so, they ended up at a fickle and inconsistent sandbar that was breaking just enough to provide some great barreling waves.

If you’re a surfer, or even just a fan of the sport, you know that finding the perfect spot to catch some waves can be a challenge. Especially when the surf is up and everyone is out in full force trying to ride the biggest and best waves.
Despite the less than ideal conditions, local surfers Kyle Knox, Nick Jiampa, and young gun Kale Cadam were all out in the water, catching some incredible waves. And SLAW VLOG was there to capture it all.
As a fan of surfing, it’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of watching the pros ride massive waves in perfect conditions.
